Remembering Phil Bussone

To the Goddard community,

It is with profound sadness that we share the news of Phil Bussone’s death.

Phil joined Goddard in 1998 and his diligence, humor, and leadership helped shape Goddard into the company that it is today. He was a talented engineer and a thoughtful manager, always willing to lend a hand to those who needed it. He will be so deeply missed by the Goddard staff and everyone who had the privilege of working beside him.

“I’ve always said, ‘I’m the rabbit, Phil’s the tortoise,'” said Andy Goddard, CEO. “Phil was always good for me – he slowed me down and tried to ground me. Phil was the master of detail, never missing an uncrossed ‘t’. Anything that required a keen, sharp, investigative eye – Phil was the one I chose, every time.”

The entire Goddard team wishes to extend its fullest sympathies to Phil’s family and friends. We will all miss him very much.
